The Kulshan is a backpack designed to be the ultralight, fail-safe, minimal and comfortable pack for spending all day on the mountain. The roll-top closure is proven to be the most reliable and most enduring. With its simplified features and fewer components, the saying “less is more” is relatable to this pack. The scary thought of a backpacks zipper failing while miles away from the nearest trailhead is negated with the durability of a roll top. The compressing and expanding features of the roll top make it easy to store more gear and being able to compress it down for a tight and secure fitting pack where you can configure the pack to the needed size without having the empty space where gear can flop around. Dual trekking pole mounts on the front panel, coupled with the compressing buckle straps on the pack's front and bottom panels, give you the option to lash trekking poles keeping your hands free, and carrying more gear externally on the outside of the pack expanding the carrying capacity. Both side pockets are fitted for large 32 oz + wide mouth water bottles and food to support you on longer trekking trips that require the fuel supply. The Kulshan is light enough to be a fast packing trail runner while having the capacity to be on the mountains hiking all day.
